My Question to People in The Know

Here's what I want to know:
Now that Bungie and Microsoft are two separate entities (Run, Bungie, RUN!) do the rules for Halo Machinima that Microsoft put in place still hold effect? Can we begin Halo fan fictions?

Well, seeing as Microsoft still technically "owns" the Halo franchise, I'd say that the same rules still apply.

I read it was always ok to make non-profit work. You can still make fanfilms, but you cant sell them or MAKE money off them. Same goes with armor; you cant make profit off it or mass produce it, but you can charge people for the time and materials you put into it. That is just my interpritation of it, I may be wrong.
