Props Nerf Steampunk Sniper Rifle

Well this year I decided to take a break from making armor for myself and finally do what I have been wanting to do for awhile. I am a cosplayer and I love cosplaying from different things, but this year I decided to go Steampunk. Since I decided to do that instead of buying weapons already made I used nerf guns as the base. This one is my sniper rifle. Its still a WIP but the paint job is complete. I used the Longstrike CS-6. I will post more pix when i get the rest of the gadgets on and when the scope comes in. No I didn't the mags I used are regular nerf mags. I bondoed them and sanded to shape them

what do you mean when you say bondoed?

usually people use on here use bondo for their armors but bondo is an automotive body filler

I honestly do not know where steampunk comes from, but every project I see with "Steampunk" in its name tends to turn out pretty awesome!

Isn't steampunk supposed to be what people of the 1800s thought 2000 would be like?

Its hard to explain what it is but its Victorian era that is sci-fi and fantasy. There are so many sub-genres of it but when i saw people at comic con last year doing steampunk it got me motivated to finally do it this year. The guns i posted are just the props i am actually working on the whole outfit itself which is slowly moving along.
