This is confusing... I thought for sure that they'd be using Mark VII armor, not only because of the gauntlets, but also because Bungie LOVES to use the number 7....

It's Mk. VI.

The Halo 3 armor is probably an upgraded version of the Mk. VI.

Besides...if you notice the HUGE difference between Mk. V and Mk. VI, shouldn't the difference between VI and VII be the same (not just new guantlets or whatever)?

I'm pretty sure it's an updated Mk. VI (otherwise it wouldn't say "VI" on it).

It's a portable grav lift... it unfolds when you drop it and lays flat..

Actually it's not that big... just looks so because that image is huge.
