Thanx Sean.. I know you would get a kick outta the pictures.. These were quick work and want to do an elaborate shoot of the helmet.. I have a few ideas.. Stay tuned
sounds to me like the fabric your getting to do the padding is the stuff that gets used for the inside ceiling/roof of a car.
if that be the case, your local store damn near got the name right.
Because that stuff is actually called HeadLiner Fabric
From the look of the padding in your pictures, it sure looks like headliner fabric. Most of the stuff you buy online is about 1/4th inch thick. and insanely comfortable. Also since the stuff is a little stretchy, it's great for pulling over thicker pad shapes like the thicker padding in your helmet
ninja edit: did a quick google search for the stuff. you can check it out here
Sean, your work is incredible! Helmets off to ya! My best compliment I could give you is that your helmet looks like an actual functioning piece of real Mjolnir armor. Just incredible...
LOL!! Okay, mebbe I didn't word that quite correctly!! :rolleyes How's this instead:
Sean, your helmet looks like not just costume Mjolnir armor, but military grade, actual use armor, in other words, realistic armor that looks like it could function as it does in the games!

Thas awsome Sean so let me get this straight...You used Fiberglass (with resin or without?) to make the helmet and the INSIDE you used Polystyrene sheets? also for the armor should I use the same material and how do u memorize how the H3 Mjolnir armour looks like xD
