I'll have the new link for the Clonetrooper files up tonight I've been busy trying to get all the parts of it easier to do and so far I have the Chest, Back and Cod Armor fixed like the Chest in the picture up a few posts hope to get everything I'm working on done before the end of the month.

Nintendude can you fix the clonetrooper files???

it gives me a .rar file instead of a .zip or .pdo

EDIT: Also for the Space Marine PLease

It might take me a while to add a zip file for each of those if you get a program called JZip from http://www.jzip.com it's free and will extract the files in the RAR similar to the way you would extract from a ZIP. I will still make a ZIP for those it will just take me a little bit since I am on dial-up.

Thanks for working on the Dr.Fate helmet I've been waiting to hear of someone doing it, also for those SW fans something to go with the TIE Pilot Chestbox when I get done I'll add it to the original file with the Chestbox file. But here are pictures of the TIE Pilot Helmet before and after I edited it and it should'nt take me long to pep and add it to the first page.

I have a AT-AT Driver Helmet as well but it's a ways down my list to be done.

With this Tie Helmet as a base I am sure those wanting a At-At Helmet could wait a bit longer for the added pieces or make/buy them on their own.. Once again great job on the edit and will be looking to build this helmet in the future..

I wonder????? Is it possible to rip the 3D models from the Ironman video game that came out with the first movie? I was looking at the suit models on the web and they had 6 classic comic models and 3 movie models in the game. Even the "HULKBUSTER". Those would be cool to build as a model for you desk even if you couldn't build them as a costume armor. Check them out here:

Thanks again for all your hard work on the Pep files. I'm working on the Dr. Fate helmet now.

I'm a huge comic fan. I'm looking at a couple of Pep files I found on the web from video games that look like gas masks. I'm thinking about trying to change them into the classic Sandman mask. It would be great just to sit on the shelf, kind of like a comic museum display.

To rip from a PC game that has DirectX 9.0 you will need this.

I never got fully into knowing how to use it so read the instructions. If they made a PC Iron Man game I will tell you now the model will be low poly so it will need work to the original 3D file to look good for pepakura.

Thanks for the info. I'm loading Parallels and Windows XP onto my MacBook. What 3D program is recommended for working on designs? I've got a copy of Pepakura Designer. I'm a graphic designer/commercial artist so I know Photoshop and Illustrator but I'm learning about the 3D.

Thanks again.

There is a lot of 3D programs out there that are free or trial periods. Off the top of my head a few free ones are Metasequoia LE, Blender, Google Sketchup, Anim8or and a few other ones I can't think of the names, other programs that are trial periods are like Milkshape3D and 3DS MAX.

Don't forget Maya! :) It's also a trial version but well worth the purchase if you are going to really try to ascend into 3d arts. A friend of mine in Hollywood says that is the industry standard for movies right now.

You can find it at AutoDesk.com with 3d Studio Max

True I forgot Maya it's another good one to go with tricky to learn but then again what 3D program isn't a hassle to get the hang of it.

hi can any one people tell me. can i use Everyday Photo Paper to make pepakura armour ?

You shouldn't use this topic to ask that there's a place to ask questions in the noob forum stickies I think but to answer that no don't use photo paper the best to use is 110 weight cardstock paper or heavier.

EDIT: Also guys that are into Warhammer Costuming I have added more weapons to the Warhammer Weapons file on the first page but the files need to be unfolded.

I am sorry people for typing that there on this topic.

its just you people are pros at what you do and the noob topic's are all old they have not been updated in such a long time.

I didn't feel people like your self would see them and answer back as quick as you have.

Right now I don't think the game is out yet or any 3D Models of it nonetheless that post BY680 belongs in the Pepakura Request thread.

I just had to post a message as to how impressive your pepa files are! Thank you for posting and keep up the great work! Nice library of models that are off the beaten path. Wondering if you have ever come across a saiyan armor pep file? I've already requested it on the request board :) Just wondering.

Thanks again.

Nintendude, first I'd like to say 'thank you' for your huge database of files, it's really helpful.

However, There is a problem with your Modern Warfare 2 weapons, being that they're... I guess "squished" might be the right word?

It's as if the two halves were pulled in opposite directions, or something.

Anyway, I just wanted you to know, I hope this problem can be rectified, because I am salivating over the possibility of a paper WA2000.

Thank you.
