The color for this build is multi. I't hard to show you just how much it changes color. But to let everyone in on the secret, The silver reflects the colors around it. Yes that's right SILVER there is no gray on the hard shell, it is hammered steel paint. That with the mat finish reflects light in ways that will even fool the camera.

Can't wait to see the suit up thorn! And then your next build...it's going to be amaaaaaaaazing I'm sure!

OMG dude this has to be the best looking reach build to date! The paint job takes it far beyond any of the other builds I have seen. I wish I had your talents/patients for my Masterchief paint scheme.

One thing that I must say that is niggling at me is are you not going to fill in the gaps with an undersuit of sorts for the thighs and legs. Ofc it doesn't matter that it's the standard spandex undersuit showing through but it's a shame that there isn't something under there as you have made such an effort with the top half.

Ok this is going to be a BIG update so I'm going to do a double post. On this one it will be just the thigh straps. Then I will post the M6 THORN custom a foam board build. On the second post so that I can fit as many pic's as I can

The thigh straps are the finishing touch to the side pouch. To add them in I had to burn the 4 holes in the front and 4 in the back to match the ref. pic. Then I marked my holes and drilled out the thighs. From there I just added some Chicago screws and washers to attach them. So here are the 2 basic pic's to show them to you.

Side note: the straps came with the pouch.



So there you have it and now I will be posting the side arm pic's in the next post so this will take a few min's to write it up and load the pic's. see you in a bit.

And yes I agree with you on the spandex. That's what I get for listening to the masses. It made my legs look way to small. I will be using my faded black BDU's from now on. And as to the Paint well that's what I enjoy doing. I just had to build this whole thing so I had something to paint

Lol, As to the pose...well I can only do what comes natural, Aim High
But back to the question I really do need to work on some more poses, I have no idea how you all do that. Remember this is my first Cosplay this is all new to me.
