I am sorry but I have to say it. I recently saw an elite move that I don't see as one of the top builds we have had of late. I am in no way knocking the quality of said build but seriously mods. Thorn yours is far more deserving and yet it's still not been given the credit it is more than due!!!

If you're referring to mine. . . I'm in complete agreeance with you both. I didn't think that mine needed to be moved there. I don't even know who moved it exactly. I believe that Thorn's build is much more deserving of the move to the Elite section, and I don't know why it has not been moved there. Thorn has invested a lot of time and energy into his build and done a superb job on his build, and the quality IMO is second to none. I loved watching everything that I saw on this build when I first joined up on the site. Thorn also went out of his way to help me when I was first getting started with all of this. His generosity alone is diserving of Elite Status.

My feelings aren't hurt by either of you saying what you have. I am with y'all 100% on the whole thing.

Ah good glad you didn't read into what I said as an attack on your build as it is an awesome suit you made for your son as I have said on your thread . I was just so shocked to not see this one in the Elite section as its been under construction for so long now that I can't see how the mods would have missed it being finished. Especially now we have all the sexy photoshoots of it

I agree with your comments about Thorns personal character too. From when I first joined here he has always encouraged and supported me in my builds and many other people's builds too. He is a credit to this forum and his work truely shows his passion to the craft. I don't think there is a thread out there he hasn't given words of advice or just a quick little "great work" etc.

like I said wasn't knocking spartan_127s build just that this should be in the Elite section as its one of the best builds out there and made by one of the forums best blokes

I agree, Thorn is a genuinely great guy who has helped me out a lot. He should be bumped to elite on not just his workmanship but the time and effort he puts into helping others.

Would also like to mention that equally Spartan 127 has helped me out a lot with my build and has been one of the 3 most helpful people out there to have offerede guidance. So Thanks to you both.

After reading this I sent a pvt. msg. to one of the admins requesting a review on my build. That said I know he is a very busy person and it may take a while to get this so we will just have to wait and see. :cool

Side note. I will be starting a new helmet soon, it's from the game Fallout and it will have it's own posting here on the 405th. I'm doing this in trade for a X-Box 360 so Halo Reach here I come
