Alright so in my down time I have started unfolding and will be unfolding if anyone has any models needing unfolded. However I only have Autodesk Inventor and don’t have a ton of modeling experience so if you provide a model it must be unfold ready. I have too much free time as its is so this will probably get updated with some Mass Effect 3 PDO's of weapons. However if someone requests a file to be uploaded then that will become a priority.

Acording to what they've posted they are working on cleaning up the model. I sent them a PM about unfolding it.

Thanks! I acually got the idea from mkshane81 who unfolded JTM1997 Mark V Helmet ('B' Variant). That and I like builds that I can do through mutiple parts and just put bigger parts onto a start (Could probably explain that better haha.). Hopefully I will get a solid way to credit myslef and builders that all look familiar for each file. So far I have a ton of notes for the backpack file. I would like to get it down to just the Moddler, unfolder (me), and scale and stop putting so many notes in them haha.

Alright so I got permission from blackout11c to upload a foam conversion of his Halo Reach Tac Pad. Conveniently just after I went out to buy foam for the start of winter building.

Thats exactly what I planned on doing lol. Although I can just keep the scale because I have an Ipod Touch.

I am working on a special holster using metal, neoprene and leather that will hold and protect both my phone and tablet, allowing me to carry both. I got the idea from a western styled tablet holster used by a main character in the anime Robotics;Notes. I'm trying to get a cheap source of tool-able leather now and when I start creating it, I'll make sure to create a thread here as I believe some the design ideas will help others. Most people don't think of or when they do they think it too bulky to carry around a tablet like they do their phone. Besides, most phone carriers are bulky or hard on the waist where they clip. Of course, leading to the dreaded accidental drop to ground or toilet because you put it in a shirt pocket or back pocket.

Hey, that Tac Pad conversion to an iPad holder sounds awesome! I would definitely like to take a crack at that one!

I built the EVA file, modified for foam. I have a few photos in my helmet thread (at the bottom of the page), if you wanted to see how it translates into foam. It's really rough yet, but I thought I'd let you know. ^_^

Great work here; the organization is certainly a plus; made things much cleaner in the end for me. Thanks for your work!

The file I used was the "Weta EVA Helm" by Suzerain unfolded by NoMaybeYes. It was so clean and organized, it was a natural choice.

Oh you. Looks like it came out quite well, im glad someone got some use out of it other than me. I cant wait to see it finished!

@Dracosfire83 -- This is the exact one that inspired my eventual design. I have changed much of the design in favor of better shock protection. Also, I agree that it may become awkward with larger tablets but with a leg strap, it becomes workable and have that gunfighter flare. I personally think it works as an accessible design because just hand carrying things, backpacking it or carrying around a "murse" (man purse) just doesn't appeal to me. BTW, extreme thanks for that pic as all I had to go on so far were screencaps.

As much fun as it sounds, im not for three reasons. First Crimmson has given me (What we believe) is the CIO chest for Halo 4 that I still havent done, Secondly BiGHARYSCOTSMiN Has given me his Soldier torso that also needs to get done, and thirdly I seem to be having a bit of a loss on motivation on unfolding. So right now the priority is the Soldier, because I was in touch with Scotsmin with that first and the the CIO after that. Though I am aware of how many files both Crimmson and Scotsmin are working on or releasing so perhaps the BR will get done. (Personally I would love a Carbine the most since there is only a low def Halo 3 out and is the only one.)
