thanks man, yeah the foam is really fun, just takes a little practice and you wont believe what you could do with it. If you ever work with it one piece of advice ill give is always make sure your blades are sharp when cutting, it makes a real difference in the finished product.

hey guys and girls little update, haven't given up lol. I am almost done with my odst armor, all i have left to do is strapping and painting some battle damage. Here is a little quick sneak peek of what I have done.

Belt is all done, did a little more, still have to strap a lot including the shoulder, they are kind of just sitting there.

Hey Downhillnat, me and Halon are both working together on our odst suits, I've got a couple of close ups on my gauntlets if you would like to see them. his shoulders however are a custom style, we will have to take some close ups of it to upload later.

Hey Downhillnat,

The Shoulders are pretty simple, you just have to make sure when you draw the pieces out that they will all line up correctly. And most certainly make sure you have your angles right or it wont fit together correctly.

As for the wrists. when you cut our your foam piece that your bend around your wrist, instead of just putting the ends together we kinda made a curvy cut on one edge just to make it conform to our forearm correctly.. not sure how to explain it really, but there is a fuzy picture where you can kinda see the seam on my gauntlet which obviously isn't a straight up and down seam.

OH man! I see the light at the end of the tunnel lmao. I have a little update for you guys, almost all my armor is strapped and ready to go. All I have left to do is my shins and find a good undersuit. I did a little battle damage. I'm still learning but I think I've come along way since I started this thread. Me and Silverwolf have been spending lots of time on the weekends in my shed trying to complete our odst, heres some pics for progress. Let me know what ya'll think, and what I should do to make it better. Also @ Downhillnat, I've tried to include some better pics of my wrist and shoulder for you. @ Mstruvmgc Thanks man I'm really glad you like it.

here is something Ive been working on today, never made a weapon and decided to give it a try. I tried to make the blue prints from DFT's facebook page.

well im 99% done, just need to buy undersuit and install fans inside the helmet. I might later on in the future make a helmet attachment but here it is for now, ENJOY!

I am still going to be working on this armor over time, I want to do a helmet attachment and make a different set of shoulders and maybe bulk up the armor set somehow, but thats all In due time. I will be picking up the Chief build again so be on the lookout for that thread , till then everyone keep safe and build on!

sorry for the double post but here is something I have been working on. I have a con tomorrow GAAM and I needed a weapon so I threw something together really quick its not done but it should be by tomorrow. Also I have never built a weapon before so let me know what you think.
