ODST WIP

This gives me flashbacks to all the sanding I’ve had to do on 3d prints

Looking forward to seeing your rucksack finished. I haven’t bitten the bullet to start printing one myself.
Thanks. I just got my first printer for Christmas so it’s been running steadily for at least the past month. Things would get sanded faster if I wasn’t lazy about it lol.

Fixed the scaling to lore accurate on the socom. Also got it assembled and primed. Up next is wet sanding some rough areas.

Progress on the rucksack (From The Brink Studios): all parts are printed, sanded, primed, and base coated. Next up is primary color, weathering, and adding the magnets. Need to make the hinges from leather and the foam pieces that sit in the top of the side boxes.

Started printing the next project…the SMG from Oddworks. First piece off the printer. The grey on the piece was from the paint that I couldn’t get off my hand earlier.

Huh... leather hinges... I've never thought about doing that. Let me know how that turns out!

I had messeged him when I couldn’t find the hinge size he said when I was ordering supplies. He had said that people had done leather for the hinges, so we shall see.

Got party’s from yesterday clear coated before adding some liquid masking for weathering and top coat.

The m9 frags, the socom, and the combat knife are now wet sanded. It was too windy to paint for majority of the week. Just have to rinse everything and let it dry out to get it them painted this week. Still have to liquid ask the boots, rucksack, and calves before I paint them.
