hey, another question, i still have alot of fumes inside my helmet.

is there a way to remove that smell? like with some kind of sealant or will it go away eventually?

thanks for all future input!

Use baby powder. That's what everyone else's sites say. It dries the bondo faster, and makes the fumes go away.

here is some advice i have for you when you go to make the other parts if you can stuff them with shreded paper then cap the ends with duck tape it will hold its form while you are fiberglassing it just take it out AFTER its fully hardened

The smell will dissipate over time. I have found that rubbing baby powder over the finished piece helped dry up any tacky spots that were prone to emitting that smell though. (make sure you wash off the powder before doing any detail work of course)

The more time that passes, the better it gets, and I'm sure you will be adding padding and such to the inside soon.

Fumes will go away, or just paint over it, then put some nice lysol or air refreshners insie of it, mine smeleld like paint and still does, so when I wear it, I spray some air scents and stuff inside.

All the alcohol in the spray cans from the air refreshners is probably slowly eating away my resin and glass or just cleaning it.

thanks! :D

ill try the baby powder idea

EDIT:

update on helm!
