Where did you get the file for the backpack? I've looked around and couldn't find anyone who had one. I know it's basically Mickey's backpack without the antenna attachment, but is there a Dare backpack file?

like and270 mm seems way too small already.

The odst helmet. Ive sized it to 27 cm. or 270mm and yet the rookie helmet looks too small already half way through pepping. Im going to finish the small one but i just wanted insight on what another person was using in their build.

we measured her head with a tape measure ad then converted it to mm to make it thats how we got it to the right size.

NP man we are all here to help each other isn't that what this site is about if u have any other questions about this build ask me or the wife and we will surely answer, as long as we know the answer.also we had an oh crap with the chest i put the clear coat and it had a reaction with it for some reason and made the paint ripple and we had to sand and re paint so will post pix of the re-painted chest tomorrow when its done.

ok sorry for the double post but finished the ODST helm for my wife its all painted and visor is installed here are some pix of the wife wearing it. we know its not the DARE but figured you guys would like to see what out finished work looks like. and also the chest is re-painted and the knee's aqre done now to will post those pix later.

Sorry for double posting. Here is the update:



One full shin is completely done and the strapping is on it already. Almost done bondoing backpack and the thighs are almost done being fiberglassed. Recon helmet is almost done bondoing since i had to remake it. Torso is pepped and will be resined and fiberglassed by tomorrow. Butt pack is completely done attaching at the moment, will post pictures when done.

ok well tomorrow moring we will post the pix of it but we got the chest mounted on the molle vest and the belt came in the mail today and also sean bradlys gloves came in also and plus the butt plate is all ready to be mounted.

ok well its been a few days since the last update but hey big progress. the helm and ab plate are done finally, just trying to make the green disk now since we dont want to paint it and also time to make the NVG mount for the helm. and if any1 wants to know the hubby is the one that painted the helm.

But I'm a little confused are you doing an ONI ODST, or a Veronica Dare? Sorry I saw in the first post when you said you not doing Veronica Dare, but I've never heard of a ONI DARE operative. So I'm a bit confused.

I was wondering though- I noticed you used a silver coat under your main coat and I remember reading that you put..toothpaste or something on the parts you want to show battle damage before you put your colour coat on, is this right? lol

Thanks I really didn't catch that and I have taken the dare off the helmet since I am doing an oni operative.



Second for the battle damage what I did is first paint the whole thing silver, then I dabbed vaseline on the areas I want to look damaged. When that was done I used the color and painted on top. Finally when everything dried took a rag and wiped the areas off.



I will have another update soon depends on if my comp will let me get on the page but for now I'm writing this with my phone.

ok well like the wife said we will have a big update with pix soon thighs are all done and painted and the forearms should be done this weekend with also the hips to. if we can find out why our computers will not let us on we will post pix.

here is the update as promised sorry net at home still wont let us on so here are the pix of the helm 100% with NVG now and also the thighs are done.

If u can't see the images sorry I quess the comp hates me but I will try and get it fixed but first have to get internet fixed at the house. Love using the phone for updates but its a pain lol
