Pipinacan's red and black spartan WIP

Just got this little one out of a box in the mail! (thanks Morphen Jar) Not my personal helmet I'm building, but decided it'd be a awesome side project that I wouldn't have to pep lol it is going to need to be finished on the right side, not much bondo over there, but it still looks good right now

It's gonna be painted in the same theme as my spartan in Reach (except I haven't bought the skull version)

All I did with it today was drill out the visor area, which are the eyes and the mouth cut through, and placing cut out visor pieces in the holes (they are clear right now, I am going to use a spray on tint on it)

Update so far: ready for priming

finished adding bondo, and carving out details, both sides of the helmet now match, and I'm getting ready to prime it

you see the right side in the mirror, it only looks like the left again

I gotta say, that is some really nice work. The only thing I dislike is the face. I would definetely have suggested bondoing it, then actually carving it like emile does. But all the same, a very nice helmet indeed, good work.

Finished all the dremel work today and started painting, now all I have to do it touch ups and get the skull in there

it's just a clear visor tinted with that night shade spray on tint

Not much done, ainted a bunch today, I call it a bloodbath spartan paintjob, just got the cod and thighs to finish, the shoulder took about 4 hours to freehand to make lol gonna have new ones soon hopefully

Bored with all the snow, so with a very powerful space heater a few paintbrushes I've gotten some stuff done for yall to check out:

Before the helmet was finished, you can see the warpage :/ but awesome shirt and AR, similar to skylow's, only not nearly as craftfully done, I rushed it

Cod piece hasn't got the whole dark black feel to it yet, just sprayed and prayed for the white, most of it will be covered up, also got a bloody crotch :$

Shins also need the lovely black touch :/
