Words cannot describe how funny it has been to read about and listen to you talk about building this thing, I can't wait to see it finished, you're making me want to build something just to hydro-dip it lol

I really should have done a pizza prop sooner. I was rocking the last slice when it came out in Halo 5. If I have extra film maybe I'll make a pizza side kick
Started priming the greebles I attached yesterday.
Used a popsicle stick cut to a point to tap in a bit of super glue to the corners of the inside of the ammo counter. This should help keep the screen in place.
I painted the resin printed greebles. When spray painting small parts like this, I like to stick them to tape with the sticky side up and I tap the ends of those pieces of tape down onto cardstock. This prevents them from being knocked over or blown away and getting lost.
I then used JB Weld plastic epoxy to attach the greebles and the parts together for the ammo counter and piece opposite of that. Next I used acrylics to touch up on any imperfections on the hydro dip. I made sure to tap the paint on to give it some pepperoni texture.
After everything was attached, I gave them 3 layers of a gloss clear coat to protect the paint/hydro dip and really give them that greasy pizza look.

I've decided assembling the main body then hydrodipping it all at once was not the best idea. There are a lot of angles to try to hit in one dip and each attempt uses up a lot of material. This is the most recent attempt at dipping the main body at once and it was the best attempt. I ran out of hydrodip film rolls so I had to order more.
Originally I wanted to dip this in one go so the pizza pattern would be continuous, but looking back at the game it's actually segmented. I've started reprinting the parts for the main body so I can hydrodip them individually which should give cleaner and more game accurate results. It's going to take more time and money, but I should end up with better results.
