i am planning on making a Pepakura helmet but don't want al the fuss and muss of fiberglass cast? (maybe mold?) *watever the thing is that is filled with

and i was wondering if i could use this stuff: http://www.dickblick.com/zz335/06/ it would save alot of time and i would pack clay into it so it would have some weight to it

i have made many masks from it and it is really easy to work with

If you feel confortable with using that then go ahead... I think it would be a great idea to try it...

changed my mind i am just using many layers of hard resin and cardstock combined.

why? you should use fiberglass.

should deffinatly use Fiberglass, Resin will just add weight to the structure and not really strengthen it at all
