I'm sure you'd be upset if someone posted now how bad your helmet is doing. Mistakes can be tweaked, inaccuarcies can be remedied. He's been open about it being his first attempt. The busa as I'm sure you now know can be tricky at best so for a first attempt, I think his work is top notch! He's competing against lacking experience, poor reference material(perspective distortion) and a lack of something to base his model off of such as another model.

The guy deserves credit.

As for me doing the turret, I'm not. It ws an idea a month ago, I've gave no more thought since. Go ahead.

Thats what I said. I said its not the most accurate, but its still good for his first attempt. I said how he would eventually be one of the modelers helping the community like nugget, FS, Robo, you, and everyone else. I wasn't trying to knock him. If it sounded like that Im very sorry.

Really, if you think about it. All three of the 'busa helmets are going to be inaccurate. It's not like we have offical blueprints to model from or anything. We're all just doing what we can.

AMAZING NEWS!!!! If you can get it finished and unfolded by tomorrow and post'd id be ready to tackle it! As long as it isn't super hard to fold

I don't think its going to actually be that hard. Most of the geometry can be made up of large polys, and there are only a couple sections that have alot of detail on them.

Cant wait for you to finish it. Personally I would remove the jaw details.. Theyre so small and insignificant.. I honestly cant see the point in them.. Looking good though.
