ok guys there's the basic run down on the 360 controller. just keep in mind that my camera was given me some problems. i had to put this in to three video to cover all that you'll need to know. here is the frist video it covers what you'll need to get started.
heres the second one and it covers the different types of methods used when painting your controller. personal note i get a little mad at the camera at the end of the video. sorry to everyone how see this. i would have edited it out but did not have time.
actually now that you mention it i do have an idea , i think you should still have it r2-d2 style but have the 360 upright and scratch build some of those leg that he has and attach them to the side , the only problem would be that the r2 d2 xbox will be super thin
i think that would be the perfect thing BUT you might want to make a big hole in the back to let the air flow out so it doesnt over heat but yeh you've pretty much got every thing thought of.
just make a few slot or a door or something for the cd and turn on switch , so you are actually able to play it
i'm going to look on ebay right now. i'm back and i have some bad news those things are anywhere from $60.00 to $200.00 so unless i find some money laying around the house it will just have to wait. but i will be saving up for one of them. i need the parts out off it any way for another idea. also if anyone has some info on how to build your own life size r2 that that would be cool. i'm thinking about making one.
I would definately scratchbuild. Get some sheet stryene, wood, and plenty of bondo. It'll take you forever, but think of this, storing the controllers in R-2's head..
