And you have yet another awesome build going. The amount of detail is just amazing. Now I do have to ask you this tho. Is this what the game helm looks like, or did you do up some concept art and run off that. It's Superior work, and I can't wait to see what you do with the paint on this one.

hey Hyper, you have any updates for us buddy???

Yeah, the helmet is finished, I just need to get some pics, been lazy, and took some time away from working on all my projects, Im actually building your V4 reach chest out of foam at the moment, I have to get ready for a paintball tournament this weekend, I will try to get some pics before I head out otherwise I will post them Sunday evening

Awesome! Looking forward to it!!!

I want one....

Although I am quite satisfied with the one I sculpted, but yours is very sexy :D

Thanks man

Ooooo your helmet is sooo amazing with all those details. I am always stuck with at detailing stage.

Thanks for the comment

Here are the latest pics of the helmet, this is what it currently looks like, I got the visor installed, also got some final sanding finished, all thats left before molding is a final sanding of the primer, The paint job you see on the helmet is not the final paintjob, its just black and gray primer, I just quickly sprayed it on so the lines are not perfect and there is overspray but that don't matter because it will be sanded down before final paint work
My primer spray paint job, this is not the final color

I did not open up the bottom area to fit your head thru, I will leave that to whoever is finishing the cast copies so they fit for the person they are intended for

Also made this CCM for a bonus, I know they need a few of these helmets for the fan film, so I figured I would mold a few CCM's to give diffrent options for some of the helmets so they are not all identical

this looks great! everything is super smooth. what do u plan on doing for battle dammage, is it going to be all painted of some actual scratches?

Actually Im not going to give the helmet its final paint job till the film production guys get the cast copies of this helmet and complete the paint jobs they need for the film, once they finish that all up, and they do their film testing, I will paint the original helmet with a final paint job, and yes it will be weathered as for the color, I haven't decided on that yet

And thanks everyone who left comments, I really appreciate it

also very curious about the scale, Ive built the helmet before but the size is always weird, so do you mind sharing what you scaled it to?

Your right, the scaling for this helmet is strange and easy to get wrong

If I remember correctly, I scaled it at either a height of 276mm or 280mm, I built it once at 290mm and it came out rather large and would have given the bobble head look, it is a strange helmet to wear because of the way the back of the helmet is made. wish I would have saved the pep file, I accidentaly deleted it because I thought I had saved the new size, but im sure it was around 276mm to 280mm, it seems like just a small change in scale makes a big diffrence in the size
