Props Reach Spartan Laser

So I've wanted to print a Reach Splaser for the longest time, but I could only ever find printable models from the other games. So I guess its up to me to make it happen! I just went on over to my favorite Halo rip Google Drive and grabbed the in-game model, cleaned it up, and am trying to get it printable. I intend to print it at 80% of the in-game scale to match my armor scaling and to also better fit my printers, which is still just under a meter long!

I finished cleaning up the model and have printed out this little 4.5in prototype!

Okay I reconsidered and now I’m printing it at 100% scale because I’m crazy. I have a belt printer so I’m gonna be printing in really large prints. Here’s half of the body with a cat for scale. Its frickin huge!

Here's my progress so far on upping the detail of the Splaser game model since most of the details in-game are painted on. I plan on releasing it to the armory when I'm finished printing and test-fitting everything.

Finally! The whole main body is all printed. It took a total of 9 days to print and 2.6kg of filament. Next I’ll print the barrel and barrel cover.
