GAh, I'm going to need more clay.

I also Bought some Silicone caulking, but 4$ a tube will not do for a helmet so it's just for the small items that would waste the (VERY)Expensive stuff.

I should also be putting up a vid later.

silly question but what is the box and the heat lamp for? does it make the clay harder by getting rid of moisture still in the clay?

Quite the opposite... it makes the clay softer so it's easier to apply. He's using an oil-based clay.

Oil Based clay is basically Oil and wax. The lamp heats the wax and makes it softer.
