Scene Hair Styles For Guys?

Well my girlfriend decided she wanted to see what I look like with straight hair, as it's normally crazy and all over the place. It turned out pretty good and I'm thinking of keeping it this way, but don't really have any style to it. She said I should go for some kinda scene(almost emoish(if that's a word)) hairstyle, so was wondering if anyone could help. It's not that long, just below eyebrows and bout to the bottom of my ears, and nothin too wild as I go to a private school
So any advice, suggestions, or links to pics are welcome.

all of my friends and I pretty much hate scene. makes you look like a retard, don't do it.
wear your hair however you like it, don't try and change to look "cool"

thanks Keegan! couldn't agree with you more, and I'm definately not doing this to look "cool" hehe, practically got persecuted at school today just because my hair was straighter and longer. It was actually kinda fun to watch peoples expressions, maybe that's why I'm doing it, I dunno.

oh and in relation to the OP please dont ever go with onea those emo style hairdos, the ones where your hair is raked sidways accross your face. its gunna be the mullet of the future where you look back on pictures of yourself and think "oh god... what was i thinking?!"

Yea, been trying to stay away from the whole emo look, but almost havin that. Posted a pic in that other thread on the general forums "post a pic of yourself" or something like that. Think for now I'll just stay the way I am, no particular style just however I wake up in the morning
