So was able to Rondo the inside of the helmet tonight. Used a different hardener for the body filler which gave it a very nice grey smooth color. Looks almost as if it was a cast very happy so far with how its turning out. Gonna try to knock out this helmet in about 2 weeks or less, wish me luck.
So was able to finish the deadeye helmet and it came out pretty good in my opinion. Still need to dirty it up along with the entire suit but for right now im working on the lighting system.
Here is everthing all together done and ready to GO to megacon baby! :cool

And for the costume contest, my best friend and i will be doing Halo 4 Red vs Blue. The blue armor will have my Recruit helmet and not the warrior helmet.
Sweet! Paint looks good, bro. Halo's gonna have a strong showing this year! I am also bringing two suits (hopefully I can finish my foam commando helmet in time...) One week!!! See you there!
Bro its actually reeeaally good. I can see everything. Of course I gotta turn my head down to see my feet but besides that it really doesnt block your vision. I plan on molding and casting the helmet after megacon this year too. But yeah it good.

Really nice job on the deadeye armor and grats on finishing before megacon! I am trying to finish before megacon as well, so we'll see how that goes (haven't even began the resin process...)
