My eyelid also healed remarkably fast, although still a bit pink and sensitive, to the point where blinking can tear it,
Anyway I put in the bolts that will hold the cover onto the helmet as seem below:
Also I got the "bubble", "lightbulb", "fishbowl", or whatever you want to call it painted on my EVA/C i found:
Now all it needs is a tan coat, and a black coat on the back, and some detail work, like the stripes,
but it does have a pretty good view. I think its because my eyes are so close to the visor, as I can barely see the piece in the middle, were talkin, id go crosseyed trying to see it, so I have a great view, Now it just needs the acetate visor:
In this pic the camera was sticking under the bottom of the helmet at the very back, because it had to be far away to get the whole view. Anyway, I might give this bad boy a how to thread for the noobs. They'll love it!
EDIT: I think the hardest part will be getting the one way acetate visor to match the faux visor around it.
