Some Hot Gluing Tips?

Whenever i do small projects when i glue the two pieces together it gets really messy. Any one care to offer some tips

I hate hot glue. I prefer tacky craft glue. Much cleaner. Hot glue has all those strings and crap.

Yeah i dont like hot glue. Super glue is the way to go.

Keep your hot glue sticks in the fridge cold sticks produce less strings. An exact-o knife works great for cutting away mess ups and strings.

I use hot glue, it deff slows me down. I just 'tie off' the small excess strings on an adjacent tab so I don't get those spider webs everywhere. Other glues work better, but I use this thing for a bunch of other stuff.
