You can conference with up to 24 people on skype I cant find what the max is with video but Im still looking, also we need to see how many ports ithicas internet will handle. My laptop is wireless so I can setup a network through it if anyone else needs to connect. This is all with the mans permission by the way lol.

Well, of course we have to run it by "the man" first, lol. I hope we can do it this way (Skype), though. Either in person or via the internet, I'd love to be a part of this

Something all those going to the get together should be aware of...

I'm part of a Firefly fan group over here in here in Australia and we used to have a couple of interstate get togethers a year, referred to as shindigs, like what's going to go down next weekend in Texas. We'd all get together and talk about movies and current events on the forum and all in all have a blast all weekend!

And then it would be over. And like shindig junkies we all had to suffer what became know as The Post Shindig Blues.

Be aware that if you attend in anyway the get together next weekend upon leaving it and returning to "reality" you will suffer from Post Shindig Blues. These will pass in a few days but the symptoms will return the following weekend when you are not able to surround your with your fellow 405thers.

Please be aware that get togethers of this nature are addictive and this will lead to a need to feed that addiction. But for the highs there will be lows. If possible visit local 405th members that may have attended the 'Dig with you or at the least keep the 405th page open on your PC so you can post at regular intervals to help with the blues. A Shindig report thread where late pictures and comments about the weekend are posted will help with that.
