Build is slowly going, over the past two days I have been churning out pieces, resizing and redoing. So far this is the third thigh I've printed out, finally happy with the size. Printed, cut it all out, and will start folding. I'll post pics after significant progress is done. Tune in later tonight for updates!

I can sympathize, my space marine had me doing at least 5 thighs before I nailed it. I don't foresee my Spartan build being any better either, lol

K need a lil help here. I started my shin, and got it about halfway done, after looking at it I'm afraid its too small.

Well, in addition to the said problem above^ I now have some updates.
Cut out a piece in the chest to make it a bit more accurate, and also the detail by the neck, I plan to foam these pieces (when I actually get some!)
Also started some bondo work on a couple details for the helmet. nothing too special right now though.

Oh yeah almost forgot, Also bondo'd the knee inside too. Why? cuz when I tried sanding it, it was flexing and cracking.

Its possible I might Have 85% of My ODST done today! I decided to work on it All of today as much as I can. In a couple hours I did this:

Thanks, And yes you do! I put it off for awhile since this is my main project and I want to get it all pepped first, but it'll get done soon. I still need some input on the shin, which I stopped making until I get the input >.<

I didn't get where I wanted to but I looks pretty alright, tmro it will look better! Assuming I have the weather I did today...Pics!

Unfortunately, that was the last of my primer....And since I can't buy any kind of spray paint (Since damn huffers made it illegal) I have to wait till saturday to get some. So hopt it pleases!

So...I made some progress, and found this Is going to be a Hybrid build. Half foam, half Pep. One full suit. haha. Finally bought some GOOD EVA foam that I am working from. made a shin last night, For my first EVER I thought It was half crap, as I found out a few things halfway through

I like the size, but i'm redoing the piece with the newfound knowledge ive acquired. Pics tomorrow. Any extra advice though?

ok got another update, But thanks to Logshot for providing some info, I should be rolling them in for a bit...
Made another shin with my newfound knowledge. I have to say foam is really useful! fast and it looks pretty good. Now If I can get someone to give me some tips On painting foam I'll be ok!

You can see the subtle difference in the left one (first one), and new one. I messed with the model a bit, and figured out how to make good seams!
I even finished a right thigh! (well ish, a couple details I need to make) Not sure If I mentioned But I'm doing from the cod piece down, in foam. Except maybe the boots....idk yet.

I havent really planned out the visor yet. I'm prolly gonna print out one and trace it on that flexible plastic sheets.... Few layers should be pretty good.

I havethe cod piece scaled, just need to print, cut ,trace, cut and glue to have. maybe by wednesday?

Coming along nicely! Your foam construction skill is great. I have been watching this thread for a while and, I have to admit, I chuckled a little when I saw this picture...

Why didn't your dad just take a straight up picture of you, rather than taking a picture through the bathroom mirror? I know that a lot of people are used to taking self pics using a mirror and I guess it would make sense on the fly to have someone take a pic of you like that. I don't mean to ridicule, I just thought it was funny and I only give a hard time to the people I like.

Well I don't use The norm resin, It's a non toxic resin, almost more like plaster really (depending how you mix it) Its... a lil expensive, +$100 dollars US, but that for the big, 4 gallong bucket, Actually it might be bigger, lasted me months! Sometimes I dont even fiberglass, you can mixed it in a strong thick mix, and kinda rondo it...

Ok people updates are going to be suspended for awhile...Since All I have is a crap IHS to go to, my doctor visit didn't declare my symptoms serious to say meningitis, (they actually said It might be A REALLY quick growth spurt), however The severe neck and back pain isn't allowing for much movement or comfortability. So I can't do much, but rest assured i'll do what I can when I can! Also if I drop of the face of the earth and NO ONE hears from me for a week....Yeah..... (tbh I don't wanna die, but I also dont wanna have to rebuild my armor XD)
