Follow up question: does anyone build their foam props hollow?
I just decided to engineer TS out of my prop.

For foam, you dont want to hallow it out because it wouldnt be able to hold its shape. What you can do is have little channels running throughout the prop like treebranches, or a PVC pipe in the center to better stiffin the prop when running wires through it

Or make compartments out of a rigid material. Look into electrical project boxes if you want something pre-made or just build a little sintra or hardboard box. That's what's sitting inside my Fuel Rod Cannon.
