It is a Bushmaster carbine, one of the guns involved in the "which AR brand is best debate"



I'm a German-American and have always been interested in German history, and the Luger just fits my hand so well!

Nice loadout, the NVG mount is a great detail piece.
 
I love playing airsoft but haven't in a while since my gun broke and I've got no money for a new one. Anyone who lives in or near Colorado you should check out the "Operation Sudden Strike III" event coming up. Click here to register. there will be 120+ players but registration is filling up so you'll have to hurry to get a spot. I personally know the guys putting on the event and they do a top notch job.
 
Bushmaster? Hm, I think where I am its only 1k, maybe a bit more I know Rock River is 1k for sure, but I do for sure know Bushmaster is great. I asked some guys to pick out the best ARs and they said this. At least if I recall thats the order.

And Corby, just get someone to fix yours up, you don't need to buy a new one (hopefully). Depending on the damage, it should be less than 50$ if its minor, and including labor.





a1200, haha thank you sir. Thats what I was hoping for! But next year...I should have the loadout 100% exact ;) If I don't back out.



And the best p90 replica is the Marui, but its going to probably shoot at a lower FPS than the clones, if you don't want to pay the price, I'd say get the Echo1.





And LastSpartan, all I can say is: that sucks hardcore. Especially the customs thing, and the overpriceness.

Did he rate Stag Arms at all? I only ask because they are made in my home town, so I'm a little biased ;)! BTW, 117, your loadout is sick, and any gun with a Systema GB is an automatic win!

Sadly I can't recall. I'm sad armalite was so low though, not only is it made in Illinois farish away from me but not too far, it has the exact look I want. But they said it wasn't good so it made me depressed.



I rly should make this an "airsoft and real steel thread"

Well I bought the gun when I first started playing without doing any research into what makes a good airsoft gun. I ended up buying one with fully plastic internals so after a few intense events, the gun is now worthless. plus its now in pieces at my friends house (he tried to fix it) lol

It may be a NY thing, the damn gun laws here are ridiculous IMHO. It makes the prices go up. I'm actually surprised at the list, usually I see Rock River and Bushmaster fighting for first with Colt a little behind them and Armalite WAAAYYY behind. I think Stag is up there, on many lists.
 
I was looking on ASGI because there good rep. But ill look there, thanks. I want one like the one on your 16 if you didnt get what i meant

I couldn't well from the Picture on the website, but if your Kraken has a white Hop-up, it will be shooting about 300-320 fps. The Kraken with the black hopup usually shoots around the 400 fps mark. just a random tidbit of info from Airsoft canada :p



Congrats on your new (soon to arrive??) Kraken! It will serve you pretty well! Its a nice gun cause it wont empty your wallet, and can be used as a platform for upgrading! Thats what I'm doing right now, I've totally opened up the gearbox, and de-greased it, and and hopefully buying some parts really soon :pGuess I should have waited until I had the parts before I disasembled it :p



anyways, I've added up the the parts I'm buying, and I'm going to be sinking about 150$ worth of internals into it right now, and will be adding a metal upper and lower reciever, and a wood kit as soon as I can :) Its going to cost about $500 in upgrade parts. I think it was worth it, buying the China clone instead of a TM :pI might only have saved a few bucks by the end though lol

And I really like your M14 117!

Was it difficult to convert the m4? just new furniture, inner and outer barrel, and maybe a new cylinder?



XtremeTactics: Let me know how that Conversion (m16 to C7A2) goes!! I've been wanting to do that for a long time! What parts will you be using?

Sweet, a thread devoted to airsoft! I've been looking around, reading and researching since early last year and I recently received my TM M4 in the mail :) it is beautiful. The next step for me is buying gear (chest harnesses and such) and I was wondering: where do you guys go to get your outfits and such? More specifically, if you're looking for a real vest and not a replica (i.e. real being like a Blackhawk Industries vest) where do you guys usually look? Personal classifieds? Specific websites? Military Surplus? I'm looking for the BHI recon chest harness and I've seen many similar to it, but none with the exact set of features provided by this harness so basically, I'm wondering if you guys knew of a place with a good price for it. Lowest I've seen is around $100USD+shipping for this and I'd like to know if you guys feel this as good/as low of a price one can expect for a product like this, not that I have a problem with that but if anyone knew cheaper the world would be a better place. :)



P.S. Americans have it so nice. Canadians can't import all-black full-metal bodied airsoft weapons =(

The places I go are www.optactical.com and www.triadtactical.com those have the most real steel gear.I bought my eagle plate carrier off of optactical and if you need pouches, another website is www.tacticaltailor.com (although you can get them off other sites).



And lizander, damn you seem to be getting busy with that AK lol. I've just added up new gear for me and its 300$ and its not even a new gun :( the conversion from m4 to m16? just needed the stock and I bought a complete front set so I dind't have to do anything but get the delta ring off. (which is a pain if you don't have the tool) I already had a cylinder without a hole in it from my full tuneup kit so I had no problem there.

Also have a general question for all the airsoft owners and players out there. Does anyone own the (relatively) new Tokyo Marui M4 SOPMOD? I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to provide me with scans of the manual? Or at least a manual that's been scanned and uploaded online?
