With things finally underway, I believe it's time to start this thread. My name is Baron (Forrest), and I'm new to the 405th Infantry. Although I've been cosplaying for over a decade, the Halo Franchise is a fresh new venture for me. While I've always had a fondness for the game and its storyline, my fandom has largely been directed towards World of Warcraft, Skyrim, and Elders Scrolls.

In the 405th, I plan to delve into the world of the UNSC Medical Corps, incorporating all of its unique fashion and elements into my cosplay. As the Washington Game Expo draws nearer, I'm hard at work crafting my Medevac Pilot outfit, which I plan to debut at the event. Currently, I'm putting the finishing touches on the pistol prop, and have just started working on the Hornet Pilot Chest Piece, with the helmet next on my list.

The UNSC Medical Corps has been relatively overlooked within the Halo Franchise, and it's my hope to bring some much-needed attention to this particular area within the 405th, and the greater Halo Community as a whole.

Ultimately; I will be making combat and non combat medical cosplays. I attached a working picture; for the Marine Medic outfit i will be doing after Washington Expo.

For the sidearm
I'm gonna paint or decal the UNSC Medical Logo around the grip, where the wings wrap on each side and the staff down the spine.

Painted the slide white as a suggestion that I liked from VC today along w the bottom red strip of the grip

On the white slide, I will add some texture to give it some time in service look.

Trying to stay true to color scheme.

Can't wait to see the finished product amigo :notworthy:

Welcome to the 405th, its great to have you here!

Everything is looking great so far, and I am ecstatic to see progress and how the build turns out. I don't see Halo 4 cosplays often enough, especially a H4 marine. Keep us posted!

A somewhat common thing for people cosplaying medics to do would be to carry a "cosplay first aid kit" in lieu of actual first aid supplies. Might not be your thing but food for thought!

It seems he is doing the H3 Pilot for this thread. His first post mentioned doing a Marine after this.

But I agree the progress is great! I really like the paint job on that pistol.
