but i all ways thought the bolters were a bit over sized, don't you think?
and for the 40,000 centurie dont you think they would be a bit more technologically advanced?

Everything is looking great! I was never into 40K but after seeing some of these costume builds and the amazing detail on them, I may look in to it. Great work, glad to see you on the 405th, welcome!!

yeah, it's perfectly in scale to the game but what i meant was "why are they carrying around theses ginormicus pistols around in the 40000th century that do almost the same as modern day guns???"

oh and sorry in advance if someone says they actually are like super better in some way

a bolter fires somelike like a .75 caliber rocket round, so yeah waaay more massive

Yeah, the fluff around bolters dosen't jive with all the "offical" art work that is out there.

To me this just means you can interperate it however you want to with in reason.

Sometimes they have shells on the rounds, other times it caseless and so on and so on. Leaves a lot of room for verity.

Thanks, not done yet... It's made mostly from Sintra, which is a PVC foamed sheet. It's light wieght, heat formable and is my material of choice for building armor I want to have so streangth to. I also use it to make the bolter.


Here is the backpack I made up for her to wear with armor, it attaches to the armor with no visable straps.

You can find it at sign shops, sometimes they will sell you the scraps they use to make signs and billboards from.
