Cloth is much cleaner and stronger, also it will conform to unusual shapes much better...

Fiberglass mat is the cheaper alternative... it's made from the discarded material from manufacturing the cloth.

make shure you use fiberglass matt not cloth for the first layer

difference matt : fibers in random angles
cloth : fibers woven together

the matt goes well with the sharp angles of pepakura and sticks well to the faces

the cloth is rigid and doesnt want to bend - should be used as a top coat

cloth should be the last cloth..i think thats what you meant to say

oops alittle tried...the cloth should be the last layer of fiberglass to be layed down, mat first then cloth last....if you sand cloth the texture will show
