Neptune 4 max is 42cm x 42cm x 48cm

  1. Bambu A1
  2. 256*256*256 mm
  3. A full mirage suit, Railgun, 3 helmets, and some PVC connectors

Overall, AMAZING printer. I've been using it nonstop since I got it which was about 4 months ago and I haven't had any parts replaced or any problems. The printer is user friendly and prints with great quality. Coming from an Ender 3 this printer was a massive upgrade and really got me up to speed with modern printers.

All in all, couldn't recommend it more as an upgrade or for someone new to 3D printing.
I just looked it up. For the price that's an amazing printer!

I have:
Bambu P1S: 256x256x256
Elegoo Neptune 3 Max: 420x420x500
Ender 5 Plus: 400x400x400 (Likely selling)
Elegoo Saturn S: Uh, some weird resin size. It's big for resin though.

I've also had two different versions of the Ender 3 printers.

I've printed a lot of stuff, not limited to: about a dozen Mando helmets of different styles. Two ODST helmets, Din Djarin, Death Watch, Custom Mando, and I'm doing a Clan Wren mando as well right now. I've done Two Stormbreakers, the Universal Weapon, Mjolnir. I'll have to show off with the pictures I have for different things. I'm currently working on set one of two ODSTs for 2026, while also working on a couple other things.

I have two Printers!
  1. Ender 3 V2
  2. 220 x 220 x 250 mm
  3. Printed lots of things. Dragonballs, a Pyramid ship from Destiny. But my all time favorite print has to be the Prometheus from SG1.
Just picked up an OG Ender 3(v1) from FB market place. Dude was selling it for $125 with several spools of PLA & PETG AND a filament dryer. Felt based on retail alone, $125 for the filament and dryer was a steal. Planning to clean it up, do a couple upgrades and run both printers balls to the wall to print some Mjolnir Armor before WV's next major Con next year and finally knock something nerdy off my bucket list.

Printer: Modded Ender 3 Pro
Bed Size: 410x410x450
Last Print: Mk5B Bicep shoulder peice.

List set of prints (Mk5B armour).

Has worked well for printing good quality, but would need more tinkering to get to what i would like :D

For those of you with the Ender 3 v2, would any of you be willing to help me with some configuration? I'm struggling. I added the auto leveler and have had issues since. From videos and articles I've read so far, it looks like I need to do some adjustments to x and y; however, I'm not the best as figuring out gcode. If anyone is willing to message back and forth with me to help me understand, i would truly appreciate it.

Printer: Anycubic Kobra 2 Pro
Bed Size: 220x220x250
Last Printed: Halo Reach ODST Helmet + Armor, a few upgrades for the printer

The printer prints really good, but I have slight problems with bed adhesion. But it prints and works really well, especially compared to my old Tronxy XY-2 Pro.

I'm running a Bambu Lab P1S
Print volume is 256x256x256
I've printed ODST, Captain Rex (Rebels) and Helldivers B-01 armor along with various prop weapons to go along with them. All files were from Galactic Armory.

This question always seems to come up a decent bit so I figured "why not just make a thread?"

Post your printer(s) you use for props and costumes and if you like them! This is to help newer people figure out what printer they may want for starting their costuming adventure
  1. Printer Name
  2. Bed size
  3. What you've printed on it
CR-10
300X300
A BR75 and Pilot Helmet

If you've made it this far you've read a lot of advice about "Just buy a BambuLab machine, they're turnkey".
And most of those advices pre-date the very recent firmware update announcement.
Its worth noting that BambuLab is currently in a firestorm of PR nightmare after announcing their upcoming firmware is going to make changes to lock out a lot of features-block 3rd party slicers like the very popular OrcaSlicer and so on.
I'm not saying 'Don't get one'... Just saying 'You should at least be aware when making your decisions'.

  1. Printer Name
  2. Bed size
  3. What you've printed on it
1. 2x Bambu X1 Carbons, and a Elegoo Neptune 4
2. 256*256*256
3. Helmets, trinkets, bobbles, and dragons!

Ender-3 V3 Plus (CoreXZ 3D Printer)
Bed Size: 300*300*330mm
Past Prints: some odst gear, lord shaxxs helmet, an eod helmet and my mk5b.
It dosent like to exist some times but it prints well so its nice. and it has auto leveling so that was the selling point for me.

Bambu P1X and Anycubic K3
both 256*256*256
Prints. Alot of fidget toys. some articulated dragons. and a set of modular storage boxes called Modi Boxis. I plan on printing most of my armor tho.

We just got the Anycubic S1. We previously had the Creality Ender 3v2 and I hated it. Holy cow, it's a different world! The Anycubic S1 was a literal open the box, follow the easy set up instructions, and start printing. I'm totally sold on their product and I'm already thinking about getting a second one!

Update to my current printer Situation:

Currently have 4 Printers Now:

Prusa i3MK3s - 0.4 Nozzle
25 x 21 x 21
I have over 400 days of print time on this beast. I've printed my entire MKVI suit and many props. I've also printed a bunch of non-Halo things too

Prusa Mini - 0.4 Nozzle
18 x 18 x 18
Great smaller machine that I use for smaller bits when the larger machines are working.

Prusa XL - 0.6 Nozzle
36 x 36 x 36
Over 30 days of print time on this machine already. I love how fast it prints, even without input shaping yet. It is amazing for printing larger pieces and you can hardly tell the difference with the 0.6 Nozzle.

Prusa MK4 - 0.4 Nozzle*
25 x 21 x 22
Just got this machine last week and still working on getting it assembled. Excited to have another printer like my MK3. I might switch this one to a 0.6 nozzle given my experiences with the XL

Overall it is pretty obvious that I love my Prusa Machines. I fully acknowledge that you pay a premium for them, but I feel it is entirely worth it. I also feel extremely comfortable working in Prusa Slicer and love the integration it has to send prints directly to the machines over my home network.

Another Update to my printers. I currently have 2 - with a 3rd arriving next week-ish

Prusa XL 2 Tool Head - 0.4 Nozzle on both
36 x 36 x 36
This is a real workhorse of a printer. I have a tons of print time on it and love being able to send larger prints with very little worry.

Prusa MK4 - 0.4 Nozzle
25 x 21 x 22
Rock solid printer and used very heavily.

Prusa Core One - 0.4 Nozzle
25 x 22 x 27
Kit arriving next week and will need to assemble.

When I sold my Prusa MK3s it had 425 days of print time on it. I still love that printer (it was my first one) and almost had a sentimental aspect to it. However, I couldn't justify just adding more and more printers. This was also the reason why I sold my Prusa Mini. That one had 52 days of print time on it.
