Been a long time since I've posted here. My original thread was locked down. So here we go. As the title shows I've built an ODST in a desert ops theme.

Made small improvements to the ODST. Maglocks for the weapons and spare rounds added to the chest plate.

Thats really cool. I'd love to see more "tactical" ODSTs. Give me Coyote Brown armor and MARPAT underneath! Back in Vietnam we used to clear landing zones with a bomb called a Daisy Cutter, imagine a drop pod coming down through the trees.

What a fantastic set of armor! Desert camo colors are super clear! Is that Galactic Armory's shotgun? I've been wanting to print that one out for ages.

How did you do the magnets for the armor/weapon mounts? Did you put them inside the parts or outside and paint over them? I'm still deciding how to do them but was thinking of building the magnets into the model themselves.

I use fidlocks glued to the armor and weapons. It allowed me to safely stow my pistol when not in use. I was actually able to pull it and stow it while the helmet was on lol.

I love the idea of changing colors for your duty station or mission. Wouldn't make sense to be dark grey in a desert environment. Jungle or snow would be cool to see.
