The DMR is 75% complete. And you don't have to buy the parts. You hit 'generate building guide' and then 'enter building guide mode' for instructions. Or do you not have a ridiculous amount of Legos like me?
I'm building it too. The gun's designer (Jack Streats) also designed a bunch of other working Lego weapons, including a pump-action SPAS 12 with an unfoldable stock and a built-in magazine. I might modify that into an M90 Mk.I if I have enough parts left after I finish the HK416 (and find instructions for it [the SPAS 12])
I'm back at my mom's, and I have 47.5% of the DMR unfold completed. There are 3 or 4 missing faces, they're all pretty small though. This is a lot more angular than the other DMR, and looks much easier to pep. Good find!
Oops, I meant 6:30 tomorrow. Like I said, I think for you that's 7:30, but that's based off my trip to Ontario, and they use US Eastern time there, but I don't know if that applies to you.
Unfortunately, I'm at my dad's and won't back to my mom's until 6:30 (Canada uses US Eastern time I think, so that would make it 7:30 for you I guess, but I'm not totally sure) Also, have you heard about Forge World yet?
Whoa... I think I nearly went blind from overexposure to awesome! That really is high-def! How can I not try unfolding that? I have to have something like that in my pep file collection!
P.S.- How's the EOD/Recon helm thing coming along?
Hi, I wasn't arond much yesterday, I was pretty busy. Anyway, have you started unfolding that HAZOPs helm? I just got to downloading it, so I haven't really even started on it yet.
That's the same method I use, but you should add a few centimeters at least. If the opening isn't big enough, there is usually a bunch paper around there you can trim off, which though I don't know if the EOD has, but I do know that the recon helm has it.
Wow, now that's just plain mean.
Those are some mods I wanted to try at the event. The Ultimate Icefields mod will make for an especially interesting game, since it has Halo 3 and Call of Duty weapons. Those are all from this site: http://www.halodemomods.com/wiki/Mod_Database They're intended for Halo Demo (the mac version of Halo Trial) but the work fine on Halo PC, Trial, and Custom Edition.
