The video was incredible, one of my biggest hopes in way of characters was to see the Dr that was epic. Its also good to see we get an AI again, with ODST being a test bed for some of Reach i really expected it to be a one mind one soldier thing, but it is a relief to her this.

I recall in the premiere trailer that when Noble 6 gets off the jeep to report to the rest of Noble team Jorge says "I didn't think anyone survived Pegasi sir" Which i believe is a reference to Pegasi Delta In Ghosts of Onyx. The planet where the Spartan III Bravo Company was wiped out destroying a Covenant fleet refit and refueling base. With only two survivors. Tom and Lucy. Now the thing is in the book it says that Lucy was so traumatized by the events at Pegasi that she became unable to speak... could Noble 6 indeed be sweet little Lucy from Bravo Company?
Probably not. The events in Ghosts of Onyx coincide with what the chief was doing and the Halo rings becoming active, Tom and Lucy, the S-III Gamma Company teams, and Kurt were all on Onyx. That being said i guess there is room for conjecture that Noble 6 is/was a member of Grey Team, Grey Team would have needed to be on Pegasi as well to make Jorge's comment valid. But with all the gaps and lack of info we cant be certain.

You sir, made my day. That comment brings it full circle in my head. I think we all need to realize that over time, there will be minor blips in the Halo timeline canon. However, those blips can be painted over mentally with short little explanations like this one. If bungie were to never reveal how Noble team ties into book canon, this explanation would be good enough for me.

Good point, I only say that because grey team's only appearance was working behind insurrectionist lines, and the trailer says 6 makes innies disappear. I'm sure they worked behind Covenant lines to, but we haven't seen that yet.
