Files are sliced at 60% scale. I had the files for the 486 provided to me by a fellow member, and i'm going to try and figure a way to add the double stocks to it when it's mounted to my vehicle.

I used the last of my PLA to make a test segment of the turret feed chute. Just scaled the height down of .50BMG STLs to about the same height as a .338, and scaled up a .308 minigun feed chute to match the size of the turret chamber.

The rest of the gun and everything will be printed afte I order the ABS filament next paycheck.

And if all goes as planned, the UNSC New Mambasa Ground Defense vehicle will be completed in time to drive to Dragoncon(and be involved in the parade if it's approved). I don't have photoshop or anything, so here's my trash mockup I did on my phone

The reciever is going to need a ton of finishing work to fill the gap where the ABS warped, but it should come together well.

The shield is currently printing, so we'll see how much that warps too.

50% scale was pretty much perfect for a more "realistic" scale

And it fits even better since this Hilux was imported from South Africa. Not quite Mombasa, but close.

I actually got it before I got back into cosplay stuff, so it just kinda happened naturally, as I planned on installing a pintle mount for a friend's belt fed anyway.

You're right that does make it even better. I would ask if there were any plans to paint the Hilux, but that paint job is still mint.

If any vehicle is still going to be running 500 years from now, its going to be a toyota. I've been wanting to do something similar with my 4Runner, but I have so many other projects to work on first. This will be good inspiration though!

Way more realistic than a Chevy Tahoe(Also, just fits the aesthetic better in my humble nobody opinion).

Need to work on the shields and figure out a good mounting solution now

Also, scaled up the feed chute, and used all the rivets in had. The ammo belt fits much better inside the feed chute now

Its actually got quite a few surface rust spots, dents and scratches. When i first got it, I was considering getting it repainted, but in the first week someone hit it while it was parked, scraping rhe rear right quarter panel and left. After that, I decided to just leave it with its damages from Africa

You can see some of the old damage above the rear wheel well on this picture. With the bull bar, safari mirrors and cosmetic scrapes, I think this was a ranch truck before being imported.
