I could have missed it, but where did you get the files for your reach shoulder pieces?

I found the recon shoulder piece on thingiverse, and got the reach helmet attachments from Galactic Armory, it costs 10 bucks for a pack of helmet accessories.

Second, How did you get the helmet picture on your Elegoo Neptune 3?

Mine doesn't show anything X)

I don't know how the picture showed up on the preview, I do have a Neptune 3 plus so maybe it's something to do with that, the preview picture has always been there since I opened it and I don't know if there's a setting to get the preview.

i got the vacuum form buck (hehe) printed, new filament broke my printer for a few days so there's a few problem areas. Not worried about that, I made the buck just a bit too small and I don't want to reprint it, so I hope that once I get a few visors formed that I can just kind of mold it, but if not I can just cut my losses and reprint one that is bigger.

Disaster has struck. My first 3d print failure did not result in an ugly pile of spaghetti, but an entire glob of doom that completely blocked the extruder and melted several key wires and fan blades. I had issues with it just 1 day ago and it finally worked, only for the 3d printer gods to smite me with this, I am now out 36 dollars and valuable time.

I get paid in a few days so it'll be a minor expense, I'm glad that only the nozzle broke and a fire didn't start from the wiring having 250°(C)+ PLA on them (the fan was melted so there was no cooling).

I have a bunch of spot putty, 140 and 320 grit sandpaper because that's all ACE had in stock at the time, they'll work though. I'm worried about the PLA melting when sanding because apparently that's a problem, so I'm gonna do a smaller prop first before jumping to my helmet and risking it melting if that does come to fruition.

Depends on how hard and fast you sand, you really gotta push some serious friction to get it to start melting. If you're using a tool then use a low setting and just eat at the print.
I recommend going to pla+ if you're wanting to stay with pla.
