I will add it in to the to-do list, but I can't make any promises. I am in the middle of a big English project, and the Reach Beta is coming out soon. I also have my Missile Pod being restarted, so I am going to have to dedicate most of my free time to it. It's a rough schedule, but if I find the time I can try to get some work on it done.

thanks man! no worries! no pressure! you get to it great! if not, you dont! i just appriciate your work you let us use for free!!! Thanks bro

You're welcome.

New armor pieces inbound! (sorry about the bad render quality, for the pictures were rendered in haste)

***Note: there is a difference in the actual knee file from the pictured one. In the file, there is an arrow colored on it. It is there to point to the bottom of the knee.***

With the SPI armor, there is no strict canon like there is with other armor, so those pieces may look different than some pictures. In some cases, there isn't even any knee armor on some pictures.

I have another Reach chest attachment piece in progress.

ratchet_fan: I have a tiny bit of work done on the Reach EVA.

Please note: my Fuel Rod Gun (it's still in progress) may not be released to the public for unfolding or even to be put in pep. It will probably be released as a .pdf with watermarks saying "Made by Chevysrule" or something of the like. It will be released like that as it is a measure to prevent that small number of people out there who steal other people's work and claim it as their creation (for it is impossible to claim credit for something when the real creator's name is all over it).

cool lagooms! keep it up! :p

I am... Slowly though.

New file for the SPI armor!

SPI_Chest.jpg

It's the chest piece! It's also my first true chest piece, ever (the other one was just an attachment), so it has some rough edges. But none are too rough, I hope.

So, what do you all think so far? And has anyone unfolded anything I've released recently?

i just fiberglasses a thigh and reach chest (2 piece)... I really want to finish this! ok i need resin.... more resin

Well, I decided to drop my rebuild of the better EVA. My plans of anew are to rework an older version of the EVA I made prior to release. I am going to add in more detail to it, and make the shape of it much better, then release a .3ds of it for unfolding as usual.

Chevys... YOU ARE AWESOME!

Thank you! I try my best, for that is all I can do. I'm glad my work is appreciated, for it means a lot.

Thank you for the compliment, and even more for the picture. It is so hard to work off the reference pictures I have, therefore yours will be very useful for the end result. Do you mean the link for the original SPI helmet you made? Because if you do, it would mean a lot to me to have it, because that was the second helmet I ever pepped and was the one that inspired me to join this site in the first place. I wouldn't edit the helmet or anything, just stare at it endlessly :p. I must say, thank you again for the picture, it's great.

I'm back, with a new file! It is Emile's helmet, but I made it look better (and added in my own color scheme!), and deleted many unnecessary vertices, to create an improved, yet simpler, model.

I hope there aren't any mistakes, as I won't be able to fix them for a few days.

**Go to the last post on this page, and download Boba Fett's revised version instead. -Thank you.

VERY nice! Much better than the first one. Mind if I tweak this a little (for my own usage) The parts you have on the helmet, where it indents into the visor, are raised. The edge is supposed to be recessed, then it bulges out in the middle. Mind if I correct that? and the part behind the ear needs to curve in a little more... it sticks out. Other than that though, this is probably one of the best files yet!

BRO !! that looks sick! how do i get it to pdo?

Thank you! Open up Pep Designer, click Import (in the File dropdown), then import it as a .3ds file. It will need scaling, and unfolding though.

And thank you too! I spent many a day improving it, so I'm glad it's better. I don't mind at all if you fix that stuff, for I am unable to at the current time (no access to my laptop for a bit). If you were to put the refixed version up for download, just be sure to post a link here; thank you.

EDIT: Ha ha, I got post #117 in this thread!

Thank you. If you do, I can't wait to see how it turns out. I know what you mean, I have many projects in progress, and others I really want to start.

Hey, Chevy. Got this cleaned up a little. Main changes: bulge on the forehead (behind the visor) are shaped better, but they will still need raising when building. The back of the helmet, especially the neck area, got reshaped and is more accurate. Still will need a bit of scratch building there to make it perfect. Other than that, I changed the top panel behind the visor' shape a little, more curvy. Not much more was needed, or at least, not much more than I can fix. and no open edges! The contours are EXACTLY on spec for the concept art, so I can vouch that this is accurate... now I'm gonna build this and trash my other helmet. grrr... Needs to be unfolded, and Chevy, do whatever you please with my meager attempts at editing this. :penjoy!
