Foam COMPLETED ONI Operative/ODST Armor!

I have been busy and burned out on these damn odst gauntlets, I made a mini armory of failed attempts, 6th version I'm going to melt the insides to try to get the same curves, I also strangled a failed gauntlet, quite satisfying! Anyway progress pics on the way, ooooh also been adding more silver stuff on my chest, I'll add a picture on the next pic.

Also I found a glove kit I bought 3 years ago from Sean Bradley, awesome latex and stuff.

Well after a total of 9 warped/mutated monstrosity of a gauntlet, finally made a pair of vents that will do, I was seriously getting fatigued doing these damn things. But here is two I'm happy with, now I can finish the build!

Hopefully finish up the gauntlets by Friday then start painting everything, probably do the plastidip, then primer and black basecoat over the weekend. Then so on and so on and wait for some Halo Infininite multi-player assets/files to pop up

Well I copied PaiganBoi and made my gauntlets kinda "smooth" I'll add the raised details probably after work today, but here is the progress I made on Friday and the semi finished result, and only made one elbow piece so far.


Also proof I did two of them, keep in my this is my 9TH VERSION! HATED THESE SO MUCH, TOOK ME 8 TIMES TO ACTUALLY DECIDED TO MELT AND FORM IT INTO THE SHAPE! Anyway here is the one elbow piece.

I'll add all the raised detail on it later today with some 2/4/6mm foam and build the other elbow. Until then later folks!

Looking good, mate . I'm very slow doing my basic marine up, been a year & I haven't started painting yet. At this rate I'm gonna need another year.

Alright, everything is built, working on the strapping system and got the first set of pouches in, I'll put unsc and oni patches on em of course, but here is the semi completed gauntlets gauntlets the boots are 100% completed!

With luck, I'll have a suit up pics tomorrow!

I'm going with four pouches with molle webbing and velcro for oni and unsc patches.

Should be pretty cool, might get some hate, but hey, custom oni operative sooooo, do what I want!
Sure you guys would love it though!

I still with have those fancy canister like grenades, but I will put em on my left should strap thing, should also be cool!

Think my helmet will clip anything on my shoulder straps so scrapping that idea, bit got some suit up pics for you guys, still working on a shoulder mounting system, so they are free floating, also warning pic heavy!

Soooo the test fit was pretty flawless except the shoulders that were just on by gravity, I got some decals coming and custom patches and of a whole lot of nylon webbing once it's all painted.
I know you guys been wait for a suit up.

I fixed the thigh issue by mounting heavy duty snaps on the belt line of my pants and used so elastic straps and put heavy duty snaps on those then contact cement the straps to the thighs then shoe goo the hell out of it, problem solved working on the shoulder strap mounting system thing, probably just use the same snaps and put it on a duty shirt

Got some straps put on the main chest, looking to be a thing now, too humid for plastidip today so maybe tomorrow, but here is the straps!

And pick these up on Amazon d ring coupling things.

Working on the ODST buckles for the main torso piece.

Got my collar back on since the torso is pretty much done!

Decided to use Dire since my gamer ID is Direvvolfe, and Dire is short for that, soooo yeau, changing my ID to Dire as well once a moderator gets around to it!
