Custom Mandalorian Armor

[Roxas 56]

I found this picture of a Mandalorian on deviant art and I loved the way that the artist combined armor and a long black coat. I love both so I fell in love with this armor design. I'm not trying to copy it exactly I'm just taking ideas from it. I used Skip's Mandalorian armor pep files to make this costume which were very well made.

I like this design because I it allows free movement so I can wear it out more than my spartan armor. I'm also on summer vacation right now so I have loads of free time to work on this.

Wizardofflight has a pattern for the rangefinder. Its posted at the TDH forums. I would link it, but i'm feeling lazy at the moment.

I was thinking about not even adding it because I don't really like the way it looks. It doesn't really go with the design of the rest of the helmet.

great work and cool design i really like the coat it brings a darker look to the mandalorian armor but if i may the range finder is a key part to the helmet in my opinion

Update!

I peped the top half of my mando gauntlets. I just have to cut out the bottom half and adjust it to my tiny arm size. I finally got around to getting out of my house last night to get more hardener for my resin so I can finally start the resin and fiberglass stage.

I hate this new system. I couldn't figure out how to update the subtitle and when I did, It made all my pictures not work so I had to repast them all in. I want the old way back!

Update!

I didn't like the shins that were part of Skip's Mando armor package so I made the Fallout 3 ranger shins instead.

I also made my prop light saber handle to wear on my belt. I spent a whole $11 to make it. It's made out of a chrome finish drain pipe, pvc plug' pvc connector, o rings, a little metal cap colored red with a sharpy, and some little rubber round things that I found in my basement. I think it came out pretty good for such a low price. :lol
