Darksouls, Artorias build (WIP)

Hey guys its ODST83 here and i'm currently working on a Knight Artorias build. for the many who don't know who Artorias is, He is a character featured in the DLC for the game Darksouls, a dark fantasy rpg.
i am planing of doing majority of it through pepakura which i am modeling all the files myself.
this will be quite a long haul and any tips, hints and comments are much appreciated.

The Helm

i have finished modeling the helm and i'm happy with it so far. its rough but for what i need it to be its fine.

i didn't add the cloth/hood part because i can do that seperatly later.

The Greatshield

i have also finished the shield 3d file. this was quite simple and once again its low detail but it will be fine.

Chest unfolding

Hi all, i'm coming along nicely with my progress and have just started modifying and unfolding the chest. the base model was given to me by a friend, he didn't have the author but it is the ebony chest from skyrim and i have removed quite a lot of detail but here it is.

no i lost a few files when my pc crashed, i will continue its just on hold atm.

Looks great. I personally would double the polygons in the helmet but I go way to far into model details most of the time.
