Where can I get a driver for my phone?
Let me ask my dad, he was on the design team for that phone, I'll know by about 2 pm central time.

Um... forgive my ignorance, but... driver? Would it pretty much be the same thing as the drivers a person needs for one's computer components? o_O

I own a cell phone myself, but have never had the need to look for a "driver" for it, lol.

Interestingly enough, I know a girl that helped in designing some of the software for the Razr. The on-screen user interface, to be precise.

Manufactures website.

Arent really many drivers for cell phones unless you have a USB cable that came with the phone. If you mean firmware, then there are many hacked and modded versions you can easily use on your phone.

Never heard of a driver for the Razr...

Might not exsist but dont take my word for it.

EDIT: Nvm AoB kinda answered my curious mind too xD

The Razr uses a mini-usb plug to charge, and presents the assumption that the phone can be plugged into the computer, presumably to upload pictures and video...

That was what happened to me when I got mine, anyway.

After taking it into several different stores, including cell dealers, I was told that there isn't a driver for most of the razrs, that's just something the computer assumes it needs when you plug it in. But I was told by Verizon and Cingular (now ATT) managers that razrs are protected and you can't interface with them.

If you're looking to mod or hack your phone, I've got no solution...
If you're simply trying to get pictures and videos off your phone and onto your PC, I'd suggest a bluetooth reciever. It costs $30-40 at staples and best buy... It's just a tiny device that plugs into a usb port on your PC, and allows you to move files from the phone to the computer. I haven't tried to send files from the pc to the phone yet, though...

I bought and tried a couple other techniques and devices, that was what ended up working out for me.

Well if you are trying to send pics, and vids, you could just send them to your email from a text messaging, that is if you have the feature. Im not to sure it will work with vids though..

Visit the OSNN.net forum under Hardware Support > Portable Devices and find a thread called “Motorola RAZR V3 USB Drivers”. This driver is different than the V3c driver. They may require you to register and go to the forum here. Additionally, you may be able to download the file directly. It is called “razr V3 usb driver.zip” here.
Unzip the file to the location of your choice.
Plug in the USB cable into your Motorola V3 RAZR, the Microsoft Windows Add Hardware Wizard will start.
The wizard will not find the drivers right away. When it prompts you to specify the location of the driver, point the wizard to the directory where you unzipped the driver.
The wizard will complete the installation of the driver.
Disconnect the USB cable from the Motorola RAZR V3
Reconnect your Motorola RAZR V3 and it will begin to charge
Enable your PC to transfer files to and from your Motorola RAZR V3:

Update: Newer version of P2K Commander is available. Complete list is here. You need to locate a file called PK.zip. This file can be found on the same OSNN.net forum mentioned above. (The good news is this is compatible with both the V3 and V3c). The post is called: Motorola RAZR General Questions Thread - Read Before You Post!. Direct link here. Direct File link here.
Unzip the file to the location where you want to run the program to. The zip file does not have a “setup” file for the installation.
Connect the USB cable to your Motorola RAZR V3
Run the program called P2KCommander.exe
Choose “P2k Mobile Phone” from the drop down on the left side (as shown to the right, click to enlarge)
Upon choosing the P2k Mobile Phone, the software will begin to access your mobile phone and start finding “new” devices. Point the new hardware wizard to the sub-directory call “P2kdrivers_2.8” where you installed the P2k software.
After all the drivers are installed (it may cause the P2k software to close), restart the P2k software, select the P2k Mobile Phone and you should be able to move pictures and other files between your RAZR V3 and your computer.
hope that helps :)

Bitpim if I am correct works with most phones to take off pictures/music/video and add them too, it may require some playing around with to get it to work with your phone, but so far, it's been reliable to many people who get blocked by their provider. A hassle yes, but it does the job, otherwise you couldnt do it because your Service provider blocked such and such feature.
