Elite Cosplay help

Hi everyone.

I am planing on creating an elite. But I have no idea how to start.
Has anyone on here done a close to life size one like 7ft+?

I would try to check out the 405th file database, I think they may have some elite files in there. If not, you'll probably have to scratch build. I've seen some pretty good life-size elites on pictures here, but I've yet to stumble across their threads. Were you planning on using a sort of stilt like setup for the feet so you have that hooved look?
