Yesterday I started putting in the screws.

BTW:The silver wire is solder and there is a small ridge of hot glue on the front.

And the screw ends are capped with hotglue.

that came together really well. Once you painted and weathered it, gives it a very heavy cast iron industrial feel. Great job taking this thru to completion.

Rust appears wear water pool's and slowly-ish drip's off. So I try to keep it to where and how water is likely move and cause rust. (OK maybe it wasn't so artsy )

My basic technique.

Left to right: no paint, painted around the object in this case a screw, then added the rundown, then accented with greeen.

But mostly I just wing it, and it turns out great

It's time for another late night update!

I will fix the fact that it look's like it was just tacked on(Even tho it was) And the reason it's a little messy is the first time I stuck it on I put it to far to *Stage left.



I made the lenses out of the packaging and then to make them black, I took a black sharpy and went back and forth with it. I can see extremely well through them, despite the gasmask making it hard to see 5 feet directly in front of me. But no big deal, as long as it look's badass who give's a flying J.

I am officially done with fiberglass mat it's just to messy.

And since the release of vegas is in fall I should have it done, and if I don't I'll go in with just the helmet.



I got an idea for the redesign of shoulder's it will be a hybrid of the 45d and 51b

Looks pretty sick, maybe get a California flag and make it look like the new california republic flag in the trailer, and then you can pass off as one of them.
