Well I spent my morning painting the new arm parts as well as the new hand guards. I also experimented with stencils.

I didnt make the hand plates so i cant say how they were done, they are from privateer, awesome pieces btw, cast in plastic with hardfoam centers.
The cuts for al the foam was done with an X-acto knife and steel ruler.
The pannel lines were all burned in with a soildering iron.
I strongly suggest if you can, PM or email privateer about the hand plates, and he has some pre-stenciled chests for reach that are sweet! I plan to get just stencils to make my own chest.

OMFG!!!!! All you guys who do pep have earned my respect! Working on the EOD helmet pep, and wow this is a pain! :)

And i found out, I printed way to small!

sizing is a pain... I messed up my 1st 2 helmets before I got it right, but now My measurement works.

Well this is what I want to eventually get to, designin my own props and being able to make them as well, here are some rough un-reworked designs:

Wow, simply clean and professionally done work. I just started getting into this...learning-intensive...hobby and the first thing I've learned is that if you wanna do this right, you have to have the patience to do something agonizingly slow, only to find out its not quite right, and then start over again until you've reached what you're truly happy with. Sizing is a bit of a nightmare, but at least you'll improve everytime you spend too much time making something too small :p. Your foam work looks awesome, I love the panel lines and weathering. I may have to try this stuff for detailing and whatnot...trying to get crisp lines outta pep for those teeny tiny parts is beyon painful. Keep up the good work, I want to see how this goes on.

Holy Cow your paint work is amazing! Almost as amazing as your artwork! Totally awesome what you've done so far. Keep up the cool work. I'm sure someone can model and unfold those designs for you when you get to it. I can't wait to see this costume finished first though.

Well been a slow day, decided to finish my Steampunk armor for sunday in galveston. Hope you like it, now back to peping a helm! :)
