Biiiig update: I knocked out all the sealing, painting, wethering, and strapping this weekend. It's finally all done! And it couldn't have been done at a better time, seeing as how Halloween is jusy a little over week away. I didn't manage to get a good helmet done (I'm not satisfied with my foam helmet) but I plan on eventually doing a pep one with fiberglass, resin, bondo and all that jazz, sooner or later. But without further ado, the finished product!
Please ignore the random stuff laying around, I have clutter and supplies laying everywhere.

The legs. I decided that the armor needed at least one bullet hole, so I had to sacrifice the thigh as my victim.

Armor selfie! Lol :p

after racking my brain for the best place to mount the knife somewhere that would be accessable and where it wouldn't hinder movement or look too odd, I just decided to put the sheath/brackets in the chest plate.

I did end up making the back plate instead of finishing the back pack, I just didn't feel like I would be able to do the rucksack justice if I built it. Sorry about the feet in the pic, lol. But anyway, that's it! I hope to have more pics when the weekend comes.

Looks like this jumper DID go though hell and back again! The weathering looks great!
Thanks man, i was actually worried I had gone too far and went a little too heavy with the weathering. But I wanted my armor to carry the same sentiment a good glare does: "You wanna go? Believe me, I've seen and done some serious s***." Lol but anyways, the weathering was actually the most fun part of the build, at least for me anyways.
Great job man looks sweet
Thanks bro! It's been a long and tedious road, but I'm glad I stuck with it. It's been fun and I'm proud of the finished result.

The only real downside of being able to make this stuff is this: my brother wants help with an odst suit, a friend of mine would like me to work on an iron man suit for him, and another friend says we could go to comicon sometime, if I help him make a Jorge suit. All I know is I'm definitely going to cough up the cash for a heat knife and use patterns, this build took way long because I DIDN'T use a heat knife, and made it from looking at pics.

Nice how friends come out of the wood work when u finish something cool.. but i feel ur pain am working on my sons suit now finish by Halloween,. But then I have my wife and my suit to start and finish befor next summers cons.

Here are a couple better pictures. No feet in the way, not taken with an apple device's camera... Here ya go!

heck yeah it is!

Well then thanks man, lol. Btw, I noticed your avatar is from the live action ODST trailer... But the helmet ithe helmet you are pepping s Spartan. Jw if there you prefer spartan costuming or ODST. Are you planning on making a full armor build at some point?

Wow, really nice work here! Good to see this thing finished, the paint job looks sweet! I too am a lover of heavy weathering and battle damage (whether mine was intentional or not lol) and it definitely adds a bit of character to your armour :)
