Earlier I said it was too cold to work with the appropriate substances to continue armor making, so my girlfriend and I did a photo shoot before it got too cold for that as well. Like I said, the helmet was a rush job and I plan to make another one the right way--the patient way. For now, even with its evident imperfections, I think it's cool at a distance. I may wear this one to knock around at a few cons. Hopefully by then, the rest of the armor will be done. Check it out.
^Product placement and fun facts: I bought the knife from Mtech manufacturers just because I felt it had a sci-fi look to it, synonymous with the design used in Halo 4 assassinations. Ironically, after the shoot I walked into a Gamestop to buy CoD: Ghosts and found your primary knife to be an in-game copy. Who would'a thunk-it.
Also, I pepped together a recon helmet...
...that'll get its own thread once the weather clears up and I start the hardening process.
