on another note the ODST firefight thing is coming to MD this friday and i was hoping to have my suit done but it wont be since i have to still glass about half of it and paint all of it and im not even finished pepping it all



maybe i can get it done this week end so i can go to gamestop on the release od the game lol

Here are 2 ref pics for the back. In one of them u can see that neck neck part attached to the back goes all the way around and down the front with soft armor over that.

Well, I guess that's it. Here's the file, ready to be unfolded! Although I'm really curious before anyone unfolds, a) is the neck ring too wide, and :coolare the bottom sides on the back of the torso not curved enough? Or are they ok? I had to eyeball a lot of stuff ...

The neck still looks like the WETA version. It also isn't supposed to look like a horizontal zero.



All in all, it still looks like the WETA version, but with some details here and there.



Hope you don't take it the wrong way. I get a little bitchy when it comes to accuracy.

Really? I think you had better take a closer look at the WETA model:

Obviously, the neck is at least one inch thinner than the WETA version. Telling me how to fix it would be lot more informative than just saying it looks "wrong." Just saying' ...



And here's my model compared to Link's ODST torso, which looks pretty accurate:

By the looks of it, I think the model is close enough, right?



Also, I think my model's much smexier than the WETA version, IMO.

I did, they look alot alike. The neck hole is till huge and the it doesn't look like a vest(like how it really looks like in the game(s)).

Vest? The "vest" part is the under-armor. I modeled just the hard-armor. Look at Link's pics. The actualy plating definitely shouldn't look like a "vest" ...

Link probably used the WETA version as a template for his.



Rube's armor is the most accurate to the games. Try looking at those and compare the two.
