Here guys, if you'd like to edit/model a more accurate ODST torso, please use this file. It's my skinnier-neckhole version but shorter and more fitting to the chest. I also smoothed some areas better and added one or two details. I hope this helps!

crashed pep designer on me. Somethign wrong with it? Or is 4-shared acting up again...

Did the same for me, and it looked real glitchy in 3ds max.

Yet another one of your beastly files proves to powerful for pepakura. If you keep making these things so well we will never be able to build them

Hmmm, sorry about that, fellas. I'll try to open it up in PD3 (which I think was fine with me) and save it as a .pdo, then upload a link). Again, sorry, I know you're all itchin' to see it ...

Lol, now wouldn't that be ironic!

Guys, I'm excited (well sorta) that my thesis will be handed in tomorrow. Finally. Like ... totally ... never have to worry about it again. Awesome. Unfortunately I'm doing some last-minute editing, so that link might not be up immediately

Also, Ral, would you possibly have the time to update the Wiki with the new Nightshade/Nobody chest plate, (which looks much nicer IMO), the newest side plates and newest center equipment plate? That'd really be appreciated! Oh this might help:

Sorry for the double-post, but I'd like to apologize (again and again) for my bad habit of releasing all these versions of all these pieces. I wish I could just get it right the first time. I'm just tryin'a make everyone happy.

Also, good news, my chest plate and knee plate are done glassing, onto bondo. My first gauntlet (crackhead version) and bottom half of shoulder is still in the resin stage. I'm gonna paint my awesome LeeKeegan SMG pretty soon now that I have the paint for it. I decided to also do a CQB (Mickey) shoulder just because I'm too lazy to make a second identical shoulder (I unfolded a model of it, it's an easy pep, I'll throw a link up soon). Helmet, thigh #1, shin #1, etc, will be glassed soon.

And if you want be sure to download a copy of XtremeTactics101's molding tutorial that I so kindly formatted into a PDF to be printed-friendly and pretty and such. It's on his tutorial hub thread.

And really sorry about this 4Shared business that's screwing people over.

Oh, and, if the torso model (link coming) needs to be further editted, would someone kindly add strut-supports? If they can't, I guess I can do that with the final version.

The gauntlets are kinda wide at the end. are they the final "product", or are new ones in the works?

No, i think the ones that you are talking about are the final product.

I think there are different versions of the gauntlets you might want

to check other threads, just to see.

Glad you like it!

Also, here's a little something I whipped up last night and today. It's just a first version of a thigh pouch (the two optional boxes that attach on the sides of each thigh piece. Since the size of these depends on the size of the thigh piece you printed, I just typed in an arbitrary scale. You will have to change it yourself (it should be 2-3mm smaller in height than the height from the top to the bottom of one of the square-shaped details on the side of your thigh piece.) Sorry if this is confusing.

Note that it was modeled to generally fit the top box of a right thigh. Because these slot thing are curved a bit and probably not identical in geometry, I can't guarantee that it will fit as well for the bottom slot thing. As for the left thigh, as usual, just use the "Flip pattern" feature in Pepakura. And because the box is supposed to be boxy while the thigh area is curved, some parts may look a little asymmetrical. (Also, just know that I tried to make it so that it would be possible to glass the inside too, by having a top and bottom that can be glued together once glassed)

Anyway, here's the link. Tell me what ya think and feel free to criticize:
