About the molding material, that seems to be a very cool product, and much cheaper then smooth-on. Do you have to buy it online, or is it in stores?

The mold is made from the rtv silicone from monster makers.
The shoulders are prepped for molding. I will be molding them today.

Just need to put the fan in and fix the visor in. In those pics it didn't have the flat clear coat on either. It looks so much better with the clear coat. I also need to pad it
No doubt. When you believe you're finished, let one of the staff know. The helmet alone is Elite section worthy already.
Before then, if you could make sure a copy of all your progress pics make an appearance in your first post, it'll make viewing your project a lot less work for those seeing this thread for the first time.

Thy're just wood carving tools. Go to ebay and search "wood carving tools". They work great on bondo.

Why hello you super patient people. I KNOW! It has been forever since an update(not that to many care . But I think you will enjoy this update none the less. Got the shoulder armors close to done. Just have to permanently attach the light(which are white not blue) then strap and pad them. The helmet is alllllll padded up(no pics tonight of it. Only thing left on the helmet is to wire the fan and attach the switch for it and sha-dazzy. I will be getting the chestplate from Ithica monday. So I will start on the modding of it into the Hayabusa.
By the way, the shoulders are from scratch. The pep boot in the background is my very first pep I have ever done. Me and a buddy were trying it out.
